Mutech gets c-Rafty
Team Mutech took time out to visit Burrs Activity Centre in Bury, Lancashire for an afternoon of raft building, kayaking, climbing and abseiling. Fourteen employees participated and the departmental split into two teams for the raft building was roughly equal, each having a Board Director, a Cambridge student and a mix of design and production.
With the Company Secretary's subtle strength of leg-kick as outboard motor, it was the 'B for Bluebird' team that came in first with the Operations Director on board.
The kayakers remained in their wet gear to play water polo, whilst the others got changed and started climbing and abseiling. This proved to be a good choice, because the climbers were first at the table after the activities had finished, to eat the delicious chilli and salad provided by Burrs.
All in all, an excellent afternoon of fun and frolics, food and friendship topped off by the sunshine in an otherwise wet and blustery week.
Our thanks go to Denise, Owen and Rich at Burrs for making our brilliant afternoon so enjoyable.
